What is the SMA ID and who needs one?

The SMA ID consists of your e-mail address and a password. (You will not receive an additional number or anything similar.) To use our digital SMA applications, you need the SMA ID to log in.

How do I get an SMA ID?

If you do not yet use any digital SMA applications, you can simply register. If you already have at least one user account for a digital SMA application, your user account will be transferred to an SMA ID account the next time you log in.

Do I need to pay for the SMA ID?

No.

Where will my data be stored?

Where will my data be stored? SMA takes the security of your data very seriously. Our systems are housed in an ISO 27001-certified data center in Germany. This means your data is secure at all times.
